Siem Reap, November 24th, 2023, Serendib Micro Insurance Plc. participated in the Annual Microfinance Conference 2023 organized by the Cambodia Microfinance Association on "Responsible Inclusive Finance, Resilience and Sustainability of the Financial Sector in Cambodia at Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center. By this participation, it demonstrates that Seredib Micro Insurance Plc. is also a part of Responsible Inclusive Finance, Resilience and Sustainability of the Financial Sector in Cambodia.

The conference was presided over by the honorable Mr. Sok Voeun, Chairman of the Board of the Cambodia Microfinance Association, and Chief Executive Officer of LOLC, Executive Director of Microfinance, Executive Director of the Bank, Regulator from relevant ministry including the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and more than 300 partners.

The purpose of this important 2023 annual conference focuses on four main topics:

1. Obtaining reflections and follow up on Financial Sector Stability and Resilience Economy, Challenges and Opportunities.
2. Learning and collaborating better in promoting the Financial Mechanism on Micro SME, Green Finance and Water Sanitation.
3. Strengthening business strategy for better resilience and solutions with innovation
4. Reviewing challenges and opportunities in order to collaborate in promoting Financial Inclusion with sustainability and responsibility in Cambodia.
