Direct Sales officer

Serendib Microinsurance Plc., one of the subsidiary companies of LOLC Holdings Plc, obtained the license from the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia in December 2020.  Currently, we are looking for a qualified and dynamic candidate to fulfill the following position: 

Direct sales Officer focuses on managing day-to-day sale activities, lead management processes, generating day-to-day appointments and presenting insurance partnership proposal to potential partners. The role is assisting the Direct Business Manager to achieve company sale performance target and other task assigned by line manager. Target segment for the role will be MFIs, banking, leasing, and other potential group companies/associations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generating daily sale appointments for line managers and go for presenting business proposal to potential partners.
  • Running daily sale activities from planning, controlling, meeting, sale follow up and close deal process with the potential partners.
  • Delivering sale performance with line manager to hit company sale target
  • Assisting sale activities, sale training with line manager and managing new sources of business growth from business partners.  
  • Support and initiate sale campaign, sale promotion to existing partners to general new source of premium growth
  • Prospecting and listing the potential list of customers or partners segment and set schedule for appointments to present business opportunity and collaboration with the assistance from line manager.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly management and presenting the progress
  • Review existing sale activities and proactively develop new sale activities to generate new source of premium growth.
  • Provide sale administration support to existing non captive partners and other changes request may have related to Surecore system and sale portal
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by Head of Business Development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA in Business, Sale, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sale. Experience in insurance companies is an advantage.
  • Good problem solving and complaint handling skills.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Integrity and hard-working.
  • Good command in English.
  • Willing to travel to work in the field/ provinces.
